Your drawings
We do not collect, receive, transmit or store the DXF files you open. Splitting happens in your browser, on your own device. No copy of your geometry reaches us, which means there is nothing for us to lose, disclose or be compelled to hand over.
What we do collect
- Account details: your email address and a hashed password.
- Plan and entitlement: which plan you are on, whether the free nest has been used, and when your subscription or day pass expires.
- Licence checks: each time you split a file, your browser asks our server whether your account is entitled to it. That request carries your account identifier, a part count and a timestamp. It does not carry your drawing.
- Parts reports: if you generate one, your browser sends a table of measurements - part names, dimensions, quantities and cut lengths - and our server returns a formatted file. Numbers, not geometry.
- Billing: handled by our payment processor. We receive a customer reference and the status of your payments. We never see or store your card details.
- Analytics: aggregate page views collected without cookies and without tracking individuals across sites.
Why we hold it
To operate your account, to enforce what each plan allows, to take payment, and to understand in aggregate which parts of the site are useful. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use it to profile you.
How long we keep it
Account and entitlement records are kept while your account is open and for 7 years afterwards, so that billing and tax records are complete. Licence check logs are kept for 7 years. Analytics are aggregate and not tied to you.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and the data attached to it. Write to us using our contact form and we will respond within 14 days.

Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top, and where the change is significant we will tell account holders by email.
